I love this pitcher. Much better quality than I expected for the price. The etched pattern is deep-cut and perhaps that is what makes it appear more expensive. Tight lid, no fall-offs when you pour. Supposedly dishwasher safe, but I wouldn't risk it. I've ruined a lot of "dishwasher safe" acrylic products by putting them in the dishwasher. They always end up looking cloudy after a few washings. Liked this pitcher so much, I bought another and the glasses to match. I strongly suggest you ask Bealls to wrap items individually & cushion well as they will scratch during shipping. Had this happen once and had to reorder. Customer service was very helpful and did much better when they sent replacements. But, don't chance it, remind them when you order.
